Parish Mission Statement -

Together we worship, we care, and we serve our communities.

The Parish of Annapolis

The Parish of Annapolis is seeking to hire a full time Rector passionate to preach the Love of God to His people. Our Rector will minister to us through Worship, Word and Sacrament, raising our eyes to the Grace of the Gospel, calling us to a life of holiness and righteousness.

Also known as the Garrison Church, St. Luke's is located directly across from the Fort Anne National Park on the main street of Annapolis Royal. St. Luke’s has been a continuous Anglican presence in Annapolis Royal since 1710.

Within a thirty minutes’ drive reside our country churches; Christ Church in Karsdale, St. Mark's in Perotte All Saints in Gibson Lake, and St. John's and Columbarium in Moschelle. Each of these churches has their own supporting council, each has been lovingly maintained, and each celebrates special services throughout the year.

Blessed with a diverse congregation, St Luke's has established a unique presence in the community with our rich church services, heartfelt outreach, and a variety of hosted public events. Our parishioners range from newborns to nonagenarians and include descendants of some of the first Anglicans in the region. The current work of the parish is upheld by our many volunteers, our licensed lay ministers and retired clergy.

St. Luke's has a wonderful music ministry. Guest instrumentalists and soloists frequently join our Sunday services, and professional musicians from near and far have graced our monthly concerts. We also hold a monthly choral evensong service.

We seek a priest who will lead us to a life of discipleship, to the edifying of God’s church and to the glory of His holy Name. Our new Rector will be rooted in the Love of God and grounded in the Anglican tradition.
