About Hope & Inspiration Art Gallery

Oiginally intended to be an in person art exhibit, the Environment Network of the Anglican Diocese of NS & PEI (DEN) held the Grand Opening of the Hope & Inspiration Gallery of the Arts on line in November 2020, during the Covid lock down, at a time when DEN could not mount a physical exhibit.
Why an Art Show?
Art expresses ideas that words cannot and projects dreams we cannot accomplish in other ways. In all its forms, art can remind us of the beauty in the world. Recognizing that the climate crisis is the most significant crisis of our time, art can inspire us to reconsider our relationship with creation and point the way to a different, more sustainable world. It is our hope the art will reconnect you with the beauty of the earth and inpire you to commit to "strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth" (5th Mark of Mission).
The Grand Opening in November 2020, featured four visual artists (three painters and a photgrapher) all associated with DEN. And recently three more poets, Robin Metcalf, Matthew Fillier, LeRoy Peach, and a Drag Queen, Amour Love joined us.
Please enjoy the beauty of the world expressed in various art forms on this page and we pray that you will be inspired, each in your own way, to care for God's creation.
