Welcome to the Parish of Fall River & Oakfield. We consist of two churches, St. Thomas and St. Margaret’s located within 10km of each other. In a recent parish survey, parishioners described us as: “friendly, warm, welcoming, like home, a safe place, cheerful, with wonderful music, respectful, Christian-education focused with strong fellowship”. We are very excited to embark upon a creative relationship with our new Rector. We are blessed with the natural brightness of the design of St. Thomas’s which is uplifting and the hub of the very active Parish and the tranquility of St Margaret’s set in a very idyllic location. Combining that with liturgy and music creates an environment for family, fellowship, and enjoyment. The Parochial Search Committee has prepared an overview (found below) in order to provide a snapshot of the Parish as it is currently functioning with stated goals for rejuvenation and reintroduction of some youth programs. We are thrilled with the unique opportunity to construct and design programs which are innovative while, at the same time, continuing the rich traditions of the Parish - particularly in community outreach, worship, and study.
