The Rev'd Canon Lisa Vaughn

As the Director of Mission and Ministry Development for the Anglican Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Lisa leads the Mission and Ministry Development program, driving the Diocesan Mission to foster Christ-centered, mission-minded communities. Her role encompasses strategic planning, resource management, and team supervision, including the Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator, Vocations Coordinator, and Program Facilitators.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Serve as a decision-making member of the Diocesan Leadership Team.
+ Supervise program staff and facilitators, providing support and strategy assistance to Parish leadership.
+ Facilitate the development of healthy congregations through proactive engagement with parishes, leadership development, and strategic planning.
+ Oversee program development and implementation, ensuring alignment with the Diocese's vision and mission.
+ Support individual and communal Anglican Christian faith formation and discipleship.
+ Manage program budgets, resources, and organizational efficiency.
+ Foster collaborative relationships within the Diocese and with ecumenical partners.

Lisa is available upon request to work with regions, parishes, groups of parishes, and lay and clergy leaders. This may be for general or specific consultation, training, and facilitation of processes to help congregations explore options. These may be focused on matters related to discipleship, leadership, collaborative teams, healthy structures, parish property redevelopments, new models of ministry, Fresh Expressions of church, etc., and to help create Mission Action Plans (MAPs).
