Surprised to hear there are nuns and monks within the Anglican Church?? The Sisterhood of St. John the Divine (SSJD) is a contemporary expression of the religious life for women within the Anglican Church of Canada. As we welcome Sr. Dorothy Handrigan, SSJD and Shannon Epp to our diocese, find out more at these events, open to everyone.
March 17 – Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax - Open House 2 – 4 pm and 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Each session begins with an introduction to SSJD's history and ministries, followed by a brief presentation by either a Tertiary, Oblate or Associate of SSJD or another Anglican monastic order on what it means to be connected through a commitment to prayer and the value of following a Rule of Life. Learn how such a connection can help strengthen your walk with God. Each session will share similar content and time for questions. The evening session will conclude with Night Prayer, by candlelight.
March 18 - Christ Church, Berwick 1 pm - 4 pm
Learn more about the breadth of the SSJD community through a panel discussion, and explore practices to enrich your personal prayer.
March 26 - St. Mary's, Summerside 3 pm - 4:30 pm

March 27 - St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre, Summerside
