Important ACW Office Update

The Anglican Church Women Board Office is no longer in a position to accept any of the items (knitted clothing or toys, used stamps, labels, tabs, etc.) that have previously been sent to the ACW Office.

The Board has encouraged and supported a number of “social action” initiatives over the years that have directly involved items being sent to the Anglican Church Women Board Office for further distribution. A range of factors means that the Board is no longer able to do this distribution, so we are unable to accept these items.  Thank you for all that you have offered in the past and for your cooperation with this requirement to no longer send the items to the Board Office. 

The many “social action” initiatives taking place in the parishes are appreciated and they provide opportunities for Anglican women and men to “participate in a fellowship of . . . offering . . . in order to deepen and strengthen individual spiritual lives and to engage in God’s mission and Christian service in the parish, community, diocese, nation, and the world.” (adapted from the Anglican Church Women Purpose).  Thank you for this ministry.
