One simple and spiritually impactful way to connect with people who may have drifted from their church community is by offering 'ASHES TO GO' on Ash Wednesday, March 5th. By offering the imposition of ashes, marking the sign of the cross on a person's forehead, we are reaching out to remind folks that we are God's beloved creation, remember who we are and whose we are.
'Ashes To Go' may be offered by laity and clergy on a busy street, in a public parking lot, anywhere people can safely stop and gather for a few minutes.
