BREAD PRAYER
Bread is sacred to us in many ways, especially related to Eucharist. It can also be central to other gatherings and even our spiritual disciplines. For example, we have a Vocational Deacon who makes break with the residents of a long-term care home. I know of one minister who started a new church congregation through inviting people to come together, making and baking bread.
