It's the last week of a really stellar summer of camp!
We will start planning for the summer of 2025 early in January, so stay tuned for more soon after that or keep scrolling for some details of what camp is all about!

Here are the communities that hosted some seriously fun camp this summer:

  • Kentville
  • Wolfville
  • Liverpool
  • Prospect Road Communities
  • New Germany
  • St. Mark's Halifax
  • Annapolis Royal

Wondering what a week of camp looks like?

Our camps are all unique, as they reflect the local community that they happen in, but they do tend to follow a pretty similar rhythm of each day being filled with worship, hearing a story, time to explore in create, discover, and play, community activities (things like learning a skill from someone in the community or going to a splash pad), and of course, lots of time for fun and games. So, not two weeks of camp are ever the same, but here's an example of what a week of full day camp might look like.

Connecting with ourselves, one another, local communities, and God.
That's what Community Roots is all about!

Our theme for this summer is Growing Together in This Place, and we'll spend time exploring how we learn about ourselves, our communities, the world, and God.

All of our camps are FREE to attend, and are open to all children aged 6 to 12, regardless of whether or not they have any connection to church.
