Join Allie (our Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator) and a panel of experts on collaborative community work for a workshop to explore the benefits of reaching out beyond our church to serve those in our community. Our panel will include:
- Gillian Doucet-Campbell, Director of Fund Development and Communications for the YWCA, Halifax
- Heather Matthews, Executive Director for the Cumberland Adult Network for Upgrading
- Janelle Tattrie, Youth Program Coordinator for the Cumberland County Youth Development Centre
- The Rev'd Dawn-Lea Greer, Rector of the Parish of Bridgetown
Together we will share stories about community partnerships and ideas for how to make thigns happen in your community., and of course there will be plenty of time for questions and conversation with those who attend.
This event will be followed up by Funding the Dream, a discussion on funding opportunities, on April 16 at 7 pm.
