Christian ministry can be summed up simply as, 'Wanting something FOR people, instead of wanting something FROM people.' We do want people to experience God's grace, forgiveness, mercy, love, the joy of a life of service, (etc.), and the gift of truly belonging in faith community. As we strive for a ministry vision in our congregations, firstly, we are called to LISTEN. We listen to God, and we listen to the wider community.
