The Cathedral Church of All Saints is putting together a Walk to the Cross for the morning of Good Friday, incorporating some of the traditional Stations of the Cross. Beginning at St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica, we will carry a cross through the streets of Halifax's South End, stopping to reflect on aspects of Jesus' suffering and death through the lens of today's challenges. Stops will include the Provincial Courthouse ("Jesus is condemned..."), the Public Library, Spencer House, an elementary school, the Victoria Garden hospital complex. We will conclude with "Jesus is buried" at the font in the Cathedral .
We welcome clergy and members of various congregations to become part of this - please email Rev. And please spread the word to your congregants if it doesn't conflict with your worship times that day. It should take 90 minutes or less.
