“UNDIE SUNDAY”

Undie-what?? Yes, this is a Sunday when everyone is encouraged to bring new, unopened underwear for people who are unhoused or otherwise in need. “Undie Sunday” is a playful way to raise awareness of the very serious issue of homelessness in our region. Miia Suokonautio, the Executive Director of the YWCA Halifax, will speak at our worship service that day. And maybe we can collect enough briefs, bras, socks and t-shirts to equip the shelters and their residents for the remaining winter months.
