Who we are: a collection of open-minded, affirming, authentic people associated with the         Anglican Church of NS and PEI. All peoples are welcome to this important conversation in a trusting and safe environment.

What: We are hosting our second in a series of on-line conversations; this one is about Guilt, facilitated by the Rev’d Canon Dr. Jody Clarke, a professor of pastoral theology at Atlantic School of Theology.

When: Thursday, Jan 29/26, 7-8:30 PM (AST)

Where: This gathering will occur on Zoom. You may register at this address (soulstirringconversations@gmail.com) and the Zoom link will be e-mailed to you

Why: The purpose of the evening is to develop a deeper appreciation of guilt. Guilt is an emotion that gets very little press and yet it is the most dominant of all human emotions . . .dominant in the sense that it is the one that we most want to avoid, and when it is unresolved, guilt gives rise to neurosis. Christians do a lot with conscious guilt or culpability.  But we are not so good with the deeper estuaries of guilt.

What to bring: your experience; an open mind and heart; a willingness to explore deep topics. Please know that this is a safe place to have an honest, authentic conversation about our emotions

Ground Rules: Be kind; be respectful; be supportive of each other; be authentic; take care of yourself; honor confidentiality.
