St. George’s Anglican Church in New Glasgow will mark a significant milestone this spring, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Licensing of Lay Licensed Ministers (LLMs).

The commemorative service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026, recognizing five decades since the original licensing in May 1976. The occasion will honor the contributions and dedication of LLMs who have served the church and community over the years.

As part of the celebration, a historical photo from the 1976 licensing will be shared, offering a glimpse into the church’s rich history and the individuals who helped shape its ministry.

Following the service, all attendees are invited to a reception to continue the celebration and fellowship.
